Summary: Home sweet home for one month at Crystal Cottage. The Swiss inspired house sits on more than 25 acres of gorgeous woodland with breathtaking views. Walking trails, stonewalls, spring-fed pond - the perfect escape. The home is complete with amenities for any passionate cook or baker. Conservatory beautifully adorned with plants which was the ideal place to get lost in a book. Firewood chopped up and ready for the wood-burning stove or outside firepit. Clean, cozy, comfortable and charming! The host and hostess were incredibly welcoming, friendly and had great tips on local eateries and excursions. Minutes away from Rhinebeck village, local farm stands, and country hikes. Highly recommend and definitely coming back again.

Summary: Just as described on VRBO. We loved the property. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming, warm, informative and responsive. One example...the hammock broke a few days after we arrived. I contacted Mick and immediately there was a replacement. On a clear day, the views are spectacular and ahhh the serenity! We were at Crystal Cottage for four weeks, unfortunately the weather was awful most of the time. But, we made the best of it. Loved the house and the area. We had some time with family but most of the time it was just the two of us relaxing, eating, reading and exploring. We brought comfortable camping chairs for reading and reclining on the deck. We look forward to returning! Thank you Mick & Tatiana.

Summary: This cozy cottage is nestled on a hill, off a quiet country road, among the forest with incredible view of the Catskills. The kitchen is well equipped and the deck is perfect for enjoying evening meals and watching the sunset. Everything was clean and fresh when we checked in, and the linens are top notch. At night we opened the windows and were lulled to sleep by the breeze passing through the trees and sounds of nature. Tatiana was a pleasure to deal with when we arranged the booking. Scott, the caretaker, checked in on a us a couple times to make sure all was fine. The location of this cottage is second to none. Mountain View Road is a charming, one lane road, great for walks and jogs. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and having lunch at the Omega Institute, which is 5 minutes down the road. Rhinebeck, with all it has to offer, is just a 10 minute car ride. Our stay at Crystal Cottage couldn't be better! Thank you!
